An Inside Look into the MHS Sports Booster Club
Over 700 students participate in 19 athletic programs at Meadowdale High School. Unfortunately the school district and
ASB funds provide only a fraction of the funds necessary for these programs and activities.

The rest must come from outside funding sources such as the Sports Booster Club. The Booster Club, with the support
from MHS administration, coaches, parents, students and the community, puts on an annual auction or MHS athletic programs and activities.

Here are some examples of how the auction has benefited our student athletes:

• Scholarships for MHS students to participate on MHS athletic teams
• Funding for protective floor mats for the Cheer Squad to practice and perform cheer stunts and routines
• Funding for a portable end zone camera for the football team to record team practices and games
• Upgrades to the weight room, and purchase of new dumb bells, weight racks, and kettle bells
• Funding for a baseball pitching machine

The purpose of the Meadowdale High School Sports Booster Club is to:

  • support and promote the Meadowdale High School community of athletes, coaches, and parents

  • recognize athletes and the positive influence they have on the school community

  • provide an avenue of communication between sports boosters and administration

  • provide fundraising for items not provided by the ASB

Make a difference today - come to a meeting, be a team liaison
We're looking for enthusiastic parents to represent each Meadowdale team and volunteer with decision making on the Board. We meet for only one hour a month to discuss the teams, pick athletes of the month, coordinate events and just have fun, all while making a difference for our student athletes.

For more information about being a team liaison, contact Theresa Diemond.

To join the Sports Booster Club, download this membership form and follow the instructions on the form.

For membership questions, please contact
Kathy Kossian.
