Drive2Win Auction Proceeds
Strengthen MHS Sports Programs
The Sports Booster Club Board approved
funding for vital equipment and programs to support current and future MHS
athletic programs and activities. The funding requests were submitted to the
Board in April by the MHS athletic coaches. The funds originated from dollars
raised at the Drive2Win Auction.
The Board approved funds to support the purchase of
the following: Cross
country team uniforms Protective
floor mats for the Cheer Squad to practice and perform cheer stunts and routines
Rain jackets for the girls golf team
Portable end zone camera for the football team to record
team practices and games
Wrestling team protective head gear
Upgrades to the weight room, and purchase of new dumb
bells, weight racks, and kettle bells
Dance team studio space rental to practice and perform
dance routines Golf bags for the
boys golf team Baseball pitching
machine
In addition, during this school year the Booster Club helped strengthen
the quality and accessibility of our schools interscholastic sports and
student/fan experience by providing funds to:
Rent buses to safely bring students to the 3A boys
basketball state tournament in Tacoma
Supplement the cost football team playoff game tickets
Establish the Blue and White Fund to provide financial
help to our student athletes
Provide Pay to Play funds to student athletes
Establish the Ashley Aven Senior Athlete of the Year
Award in honor of the strength, positive attitude, and character of
MHS softball player, Ashley Aven
Join the Sports Booster Club
With a tough economy and recent
district budget cuts, your help is needed now more than ever. Help us cheer on
our amazing Meadowdale athletes by joining the Meadowdale Sports Booster Club.
